Project Officer - Ottawa, Canada
The Project Officer position is a support role to the Field Operations Director (FOD) requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Reporting to the Field Operations Director (FOD), they provide support primarily to complex field-level projects or activities in close collaboration with other IMPACT personnel. The Project Officer keeps track of, and reports on, implementation of project commitments (including activities, outputs, reports), as outlined in projects’ contractual agreements. The Project Officer supports the FOD by coordinating staff’s contribution to the development of annual project budgets, annual workplans, and annual reports. They also provide operational updates and support to the Field Operations Director and other personnel to ensure that project budgets are respected and activities in line with project objectives.
The Project Officer also provides support to the Field Operations Director ensuring that all staff in the field or travelling to the field respect IMPACT policies and procedures such as travel requests, trip reports, procurement procedures and security policies. In so doing, the Officer may identify gaps and support the Field Operations Director to revise or update policies and procedures as needed.
The Project Officer provides general administrative and logistic support for field-level projects and activities. This can include, but is not limited to, purchasing items for the field, coordinating travel, reviewing documents, and more.

Board of Directors (non-paid)
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced, engaged community members to serve on our Board of Directors. These are volunteer positions. The ideal candidates will have experience or interest working with or for international non-for-profit organizations, be passionate about our mandate and understand their governance role in that capacity. Applications from all qualified individuals are encouraged.

We are seeking candidates located in, or deeply familiar with resource-rich countries affected by conflict in the global south (especially Africa and Latin America).
