Integrated Economic Development in the Mining Sector

Goal

To promote long-term economic development in communities linked to the mining sector.

What We Are Doing

The project aims to support ASM communities in Haut-Katanga to strengthen self-monitoring practices as well as to foster revenue-generating activities.

The project will:

• Continue training and monitoring mining cooperatives at three sites
• Increase revenue generated from activities not directly related to mining
• Vocational training support for self-employment
